Hi! I'm Kate (actually Katie; but semantics).
I'm a (tired) mom of 3, living in Chicago. I work part time and love splitting my time between work and family. The majority of my time is spent doing things for my family and for a long time I've daydreamed about doing something for myself. Creating something that is mine. Something creative. So here it goes.
Katestake.com is my first foray into lifestyle blogging. I've been thinking about a blog for years and when the domain became available this summer I jumped at it. I've never acted on so many of my ideas (not sure why; fear maybe) so the fact that I actually purchased the domain was a feat in itself!
The blog may naturally evolve into more concrete themes but for now I plan to share my ideas, thoughts and current obsessions. Each month I will have a set post “Kate’s Monthly Take” but other posts will vary. If you want to check out old posts, be sure to hit up the Archives section. Thanks for reading!
